Fish eyes used to repair humans’ vision

Dr David Allamby spoke on the possibility of using Hoki fish eyes to help repair sight in humans following a worldwide shortage of cornea donations.

Dr Allamby said “There’s a huge demand for donor corneas here in the UK and a transplant is often the only way to restore vision following disease or injury, or to correct a hereditary condition.”
