Barbara joined Focus in 2011 as our Lead Clinic Administrator. Barbara has worked in customer service for several years, and deals with all patient inquiries with warmth and professionalism. You will get to speak to Barbara when you first contact Focus.
Can you tell us more about your role at Focus Clinic?
My role involves various duties: dealing with new and general enquiries via the telephone and online, liaising with outside agencies, assisting with the organisation of the CET evenings, generally supporting my colleagues when needed, i.e covering reception etc… and last but not least providing a ‘Ray of Sunshine’ on a daily basis.
What part of your job do you like the most ?
I really enjoy speaking to people on the phone, face to face is really good too. I love seeing happy smiling faces of patients who have had treatment and those who have just booked their treatment date!
If you had to choose 3 words to describe your work environment, what will they be?
Have you benefited yourself from any eye surgery or have you introduced someone to that technology?
I have not had laser eye surgery and as yet, have not introduced anyone to FOCUS. But if I did refer someone – I would tell them about our world class surgeons, great results and our fantastic aftercare
According to you, what makes Focus Clinic unique?
Focus is a fantastic place to work!
It is a great team and a lovely working environment. It’s a pleasure to come in to work everyday. Everyone including the surgeons, are approachable and highly knowledgeable and experienced in their respective field. Lot’s of laughter, literally everyday.
